THE COTTAGE ON SUNSET – Located on a secluded, private street, the Cottage on Sunset gives you all the benefits of a full-size home with none of the worries. Just unpack your bags, put your feet up and enjoy your stay. The Cottage is beautifully decorated and very comfortable.
With a full kitchen (with refrigerator, stove, microwave and coffee maker) you can eat in or take out. Air conditioning, 2-TV’s, VCR/DVD and stereo will make your stay even more comfortable. There is also a washer, dryer and gas grill for your convenience.
There are two bedrooms, each has a twin bed and either a queen or full bed. This house comfortably sleeps 6. We provide sheets and bedding.
We feature a large back deck with picnic table and gas grill for cookouts and a campfire ring with free firewood, perfect for an evening campfire.
No pets and no smoking please.

THINGS TO DO ON YOUR VACATION:
Kelleys Island offers historic sites, century homes, beaches, the magnificent Glacial Grooves and many nature trails. You can’t turn a corner on the island without bumping into a bit of history so why not discover a little more about this great place? There are SIX BOOKS that cover the island’s history. Each book contains first-hand accounts by the Islanders themselves. They were funny, observant, and had an eye for detail. These pioneers were so much more than you would have thought.
For fishermen, it is a paradise; famous for Walleye, Small mouth, Perch and White Bass. We provide a shaded fish-cleaning table with running water, lights and electricity. There is ample parking for two boat trailers. An additional freezer, refrigerator and lockable storage area is also provided in the garage.
HOW TO GET TO THE COTTAGE:
We are located just 5-minutes west of the ferry dock, in the Sunset Point Subdivision, located just off West Lakeshore Road. From the Ferry dock, drive west 1.6 miles, and turn right into the blacktop drive for the Sunset Point Subdivision. Follow the road past the two turnoffs and into the third and last street. The Cottage on Sunset is the first house on the right (136 Sunset Dr.). It is a tan house with pink trim and a metal roof.

RATES: Contact us for our weekly rates. Rates are for up to 6 people.
Maximum number of people to occupy the house is 6. No pets, no smoking – no exceptions.
We provide bath and beach towels as well as bed linens.
SECURITY DEPOSIT: All reservations require a security deposit to insure that guests leave the unit in the same condition as when they arrived and that all keys have been returned. This deposit will be returned, less any damage costs, within five (5) days of departure.
RESERVATIONS & DEPOSITS: To confirm your reservation we require a $200.00 Security Deposit (or $100 deposit for weekend reservations). One half of the full rental amount is due 14 days before arrival. A confirmation letter will be sent upon receipt of the Deposit.
CANCELLATIONS: Your deposit is refundable if you cancel 30 days in advance. Deposit is not refundable less than 30 days from reservation unless we are able to fill the vacancy. All refunds are subject to a $40 cancellation fee.
